Corporate Communications Intern

Job Description
Louis Berger’s corporate communications team oversees internal communications, media relations, social media, branding and web development for a global, multi-national corporation. The intern will contribute to the development of the company’s first global corporate communications department and will play an important support role in achieving the department’s overall objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Write internal and external news stories for publishing on the Intranet and the corporate website.
  • Reformat documents to adhere to Louis Berger’s current brand standards.
  • Assist with preparation of materials for industry award submissions.
  • Assist with development of social media content.
  • Provide administrative support for department purchases and expenses, including preparation of expense reports, reconciling credit card purchases, etc.

  • Ability to operate successfully both on independent assignments and as part of a team.

Availability to work at least three days per week and availability within two weeks of offer.

Desired Experience:

  • Knowledge of Associate Press style guidelines
  • Previous work or internship experience
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or French
  • Basic knowledge of SharePoint 2010
  • Basic understanding of design aesthetics and design software
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
